Buntu Pune is situated about 3 km from Rantepao at the district of Kesu'. There are two Tongkonan houses in this location with six rice barns. The most important house, Tongkonan Kamiri', on the western side was built by a nobleman named Pong Maramba' in the beginning of 20th century. The Tongkonan houses in Buntu Pune are the large ones. Behind the houses, up on a hill, there is a small fortress. From there one can see beautiful scenery below.
