- You can take public transportation, either cars ( 'bemo') or motorcycles ('ojek') or three-wheel pedicab ('sitor') in the town of Makale and Rantepao and to any directions in Tana Toraja. Normal price ( recent ) : Rp 5,000 - Rp 20,000 for 'bemo'. Rp 3,000 for ' ojek '. Rp 2,000 - for ' sitor '.
- You can rent a car, a motorcycle or a bicycle. Many private tourist service offices in Rantepao provide rental transportation. Normal price (recent): Rp350,000 for a car per day. Rp20,000 - Rp60,000 for a motorcycle per day. Excluding the petrol. Driving and riding skills are necessary.
